The Grace Space, Where Everything is About Our Choices and Justice
[The Grace Space was formerly referred to as "Positive Peer Culture"]
Our Heavenly Father called the founders of Clearview to love unconditionally and in doing so, help "change the story" of the precious souls we serve to that of a success story, a story of victory and grace. In the Grace Space, we are raising up and equipping, and sending out Ambassadors of Love.
John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."
Ambassadors of Love are "overcomers" in Christ, and "overcomers" are people who have learned to love others above everything else and to thrive even in the hardest and darkest of times.
"He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations;" Revelations 2:26
Overcomers are reviving Hope for others through the witness of God's unconditional love!
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." Ephesians 2:4-10
The Grace Space at MasterNet
- A Safe Space built on God's Love (Principles)
- A Respect for both Natural and Spiritual Laws (Safety)
- A Barrier to Lawlessness (Justice)
- Creating an Outward Perspective vs. Inward Perspective (Arbinger)
- Creating an environment of Grace and Truth (Positive Culture of love)
"For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.." John 1:16-17
The Grace Space allows for the safe change of COURSE through new choices, where EVERYONE learns to make new and better choices that lead to real peace and a natural return to our best path forward (God's will for our life), fully equipped for a safe return to our life mission.
"And without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Hebrews 11:6
We come to know our worthiness from God's perspective; knowing what He thinks of us from His perspective and learning how much he loves us (what God believes of is our true identity) will overwhelm us. But moreover, it will give us a new perspective, and we are changed from the inside out.
"Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf so that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ." 2 Corinthians 5:16-21
Allowing ourselves to grasp our true identity IN CHRIST (our righteousness in Him) will transform us.
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18
Furthermore, understanding the consequences and rewards of the choices we make, because we know how much He loves us, we learn to trust His justice, and we choose to love others unconditionally, as He has loved us.
"He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit," Titus 3:5
What's more, we are called to love those who cannot love us back. Therefore, we hope to lead our students through love and grace and trust the outcome will be that they choose to love (others) as themselves.
"and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind," Ephesians 4:23
We hope they will learn to "love their neighbor, like themselves, and to love God with all their heart."
"And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27
We believe that our example of God's unconditional love through Grace will move rebellious students to repentance. It's our witness and testimony of unconditional love that compels them to love themselves and others.
Romans 2:4 "Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?"
NO PUNISHMENT AND NO CONDEMNATION
Instead of punishment, at MasterNet, we live in a world of "Choices and Rewards." We teach our students the consequences of their choices beforehand, both good and bad, and we hope they make the best choice.
Ephesians 1:7-9 "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him "
Knowing "all" consequences in advance of their choices, we simply allow the students of Clearview to receive the natural consequences of their choices, both good and bad. We call this the Grace Space. We love them unconditionally and stick with them until they know the incredible freedom that comes with aligning with God's grace and truth.
"Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the Law of sin and of death." Romans 8:1
We don't remove the "Law" from Clearview; that would be pure lawlessness. Instead, we allow the "Law" to be what it was intended, which is a guide for those who are lost.
1 Peter 3:18 - "For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;"
We don't want our students to stay lost; we want them to go beyond the elementary principles of God. God is love, and we want to see all our students transformed and walking in the love of God.
1 John 4:18 - "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love."
We want our students and staff to excel and thrive and soar, so they must be taught and led into the truth of who they are in Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:22 - "For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive."
Our job is to show our students and staff a new and better way to approach and navigate life.
Romans 12:2 - "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."
We make sure that they know they are not alone and that God loves them unconditionally, a love that goes beyond their imagination.
Philippians 1:6 - "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."
Remember, all Laws point out our flaws and faults and shortcomings, constantly reminding us "where and how" we don't measure up. But they don't show us how to make better choices; it only condemns us (punishment) for not measuring up.
1 John 5:5 - "Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
No law does anything to help us overcome our weaknesses, but it does do an excellent job condemning us and pointing out how we have failed to live up to the minimum standard of the Law.
Romans 8:2 - "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death."
All judgment has been made, and it is all said and done. Jesus died on the cross 2,000 years ago, and He condemned sin in the flesh, nailing to the cross, and left ALL our sin all in hell when God raised Jesus from the dead because He had ALREADY justified us, those who believe.
Ephesians 3:20-21 - "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
We are set free from every sin, from all bondages, and we are made alive in Christ! Receive it; it is a free gift of God to be received and enjoyed.
